INTRODUCTION
The Kenya Veterinary Association (KVA) in collaboration with the Zoonotic Disease Unit (ZDU) and the Washington State University (WSU) will hold the World Rabies Conference, World Rabies Day (WRD) celebrations and the Veterinary of the Year (VOYA) award ceremony at Acacia Premier Hotel, Kisumu County, Kenya as from 26th to 29th September, 2017. The theme of the events will be ‘’Rabies: Zero by 30″. View the invitation letter
EXPECTECTED DELEGATES AT THE CONFERENCE
The conference targets about 500 delegates comprising of National Government, County Government, Veterinary Practitioners, Academia, Media, international delegates, Development Partners, Civil Society Organizations etc .

- Wed 27th September, 2017 – Rabies scientific conference, exhibitions and VOYA awards in the evening
- Thu 28th September, 2017 – Field Day (vaccination against rabies) and exhibitions
- Fri 29th September, 2017 – Departure of delegates
The conference programme will include oral paper and poster presentations and enlightening discussions and talks relating to all aspects of, “Rabies: Zero by 30”.
